The ‘Faces of Peel Senior Link’ Banner Campaign
Peel Senior Link created the idea of the 'Faces Campaign', to express publicly the honour and respect felt for those seniors we serve. These individuals represent the largest portion of our aging population, who have chosen to live in the community. With our support, we make independent living possible for seniors who might otherwise experience repeated hospitalizations or the premature need for a Long-Term Care facility.
Peel Senior Link is a not-for-profit, charitable organization established in 1991, providing personal care and home-making services in designated seniors' buildings in Mississauga and Brampton. With funding from the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care, United Way of Peel, grants and personal and corporate donations, we are able to help seniors live with dignity, stability and in a safe environment.
We are delighted to share with you these 12 wonderful individuals and their stories, who with great enthusiasm and excitement, joined the project team to represent the 'faces' of Peel Senior Link. Their stories highlight the legacy and contributions made by Canada's honoured senior citizens. Witness their lives lived from early childhood memories to their role as adults to living as senior citizens. You will feel their joy of family, experience their challenges in life, rejoice in their career victories and life accomplishments.
We wish to thank the Ontario Seniors' Secretariat, who loved the project from the outset and joined us as a proud partner, and wish to express our sincere appreciation to the corporate sponsors featured below, and Bernard of Traffic Design, who presented these individuals with utmost respect and dignity.
