
Nancy Jovin is a Registered Social Service Worker – Gerontology with extensive experience in senior living, community services, and client advocacy. As Supervisor of Client Services at Peel Senior Link, she leads client assessments, manages a team of healthcare professionals, and ensures high-quality service delivery to enhance client well-being.
With a strong background in retirement living and long-term care, Nancy previously served as Director of Active Living at a prominent organization, where she led resident engagement initiatives, managed interdisciplinary teams, and developed wellness programs to support older adults, including those with cognitive impairments.
Nancy holds a Diploma in Social Service Work – Gerontology from Sheridan College, a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, specializing in Accounting and Computer Science, and a Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality, and Travel Management. She is also certified in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) and trained in InterRAI CHA, P.I.E.C.E.S., BSO-DOS, MoCA, dementia interventions, and Mental Health Interventions.
On a personal note, Nancy lives with her husband and daughter and loves spending quality time with her family, cherishing the balance between her professional dedication and home life.
