Samina Talat was appointed CEO of Peel Senior Link in August 2025, succeeding Raymond Applebaum after his 26 years of transformative leadership.

With extensive experience in community health and senior care, Samina has held senior leadership positions at the Canadian Red Cross, Central West CCAC (now Ontario Health atHome), Bramalea CHC (now Wellfort), and Central West LHIN (Ontario Health). Throughout her career, she has championed equitable access to care and improved health outcomes for seniors and marginalized communities. Known for her collaborative approach, she is dedicated to enhancing community well-being and advancing innovative aging‑in‑place solutions.

Samina holds a Master of Health Sciences in Health Administration, a Master of Science in Psychology, and certifications in Advanced Health Leadership and Clinical Services Management. She is also a Certified Health Executive.

Outside of work, Samina is an avid cyclist, passionate cook, and enthusiastic traveller who draws inspiration from exploring diverse cultures and cuisines—energy she brings to her professional work and community engagement.

Sean Weylie is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field. Known for his strategic vision and ability to lead organizations through growth and transformation, he supports the development of effective processes and programs in community care across the region. Notably, he has led MH LHIN initiatives such as Behaviour Supports Ontario, Caregiver Recharge, the Regional Learning Centre, and the CW Community Wound Care Program.

He is a trained Improvement Facilitator through Health Quality Ontario and holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in Quality Improvement. He also earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on organizational change and is a certified Change Management Specialist. Recognized for his sound judgment and collaborative approach, Sean builds high-performing teams and fosters cultures grounded in integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Sean lives in Acton with his wife. He has two adult sons and a dog, and enjoys curling, hockey, golf, and summer days riding his motorcycle.
