Ray Applebaum, CEO, Peel Senior Link (PSL) participated in a meeting with the Ontario Minister of Finance and local MPPs last week, and had the opportunity to present our 2022 Ontario Budget Submission which we do annually.
Ray presented his recommendations to provide an investment of $677 million into the Home and Community Care Sector PSL has been advocating for adequate community support services base funding to address community needs and service gaps; exempt the community health sector from Bill 124; and for permanent personal support services wage enhancement in collaboration with the Ontario Community Support Association (OCSA)[…]
